Trinity Commons is an innovative public-private partnership between Trinity Lutheran Church and Boulder’s Central Area General Improvement District (CAGID). Element Properties structured the deal and facilitated a complex partnership to fruition which now provides 16 much-needed permanently affordable, one-bedroom senior residences in the heart of downtown Boulder. In addition to helping bridge the affordable housing divide through the provision of 16 permanently affordable units, Trinity Commons also features a 64-car public garage to meet public demand for accessible parking downtown. Element managed the project’s construction and facilitated closings to ensure exceptional attention to detail so that all stakeholders are pleased with the project. The new building not only provides a community benefit, it also matches the landmarked historical structures nearby while providing residents with unsurpassed amenity access. At Trinity Commons, Element has once again demonstrated its ability to convert vacant or underutilized parcels into beautiful homes that also provide a significant community benefit.
