With more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development, Chris leveraged his experience to co-found Element Properties with Scott in 2010. Chris helps oversee the principal side of the business including company strategy, operations oversite, project capitalization, and investor relations. 

Prior to starting Element Properties, Chris participated in the financing and management of a variety of ventures in real estate development as well as in the software, restaurant and clean tech industries. Before that, Chris worked as an analyst for Related Capital Company, at the time the nation’s leading developer and syndicator of affordable housing, where he participated in the placement of more than $100 million in tax credit equity for affordable housing developments.

Chris received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University. He serves on the board of trustees for Thorne Nature Experience. Chris enjoys mountain biking, trail running, and exploring places near and far with his family.
