Zinnia Permanent Supportive Housing

2000 Sunset Way, Longmont, CO

Under Construction

The 39,500 square foot, four-story building consisting of 55 one-bedroom Permanent Supportive Housing units and associated amenities provides critical housing and supportive services to Longmont residents experiencing homelessness. Element facilitated a coalition of funding partners to help make Zinnia possible including 9% federal low income housing tax credits from the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, City of Longmont, Longmont Housing Authority, Boulder County, Impact Development Fund, and Colorado Department of Housing. All Roads (formerly Boulder Shelter for the Homeless) provides on-site case management for residents and coordinates other services. Shopworks Architecture lead the trauma-informed design of the property, I-Kota Construction served as general contractor, and Longmont Housing Authority is the property manager. Element managed the project’s construction and is overseeing ongoing operations to ensure Zinnia fulfills the goals of all stakeholders.
